When to Go

Hamilton Island enjoys warm and mild weather all year round, making it the perfect holiday destination if you’re escaping a cold winter in the southern states. The best time to visit is between April and June, when the island experiences less rain and the average temperature is 24C. The hottest and wettest time of year is January to March, when tropical low-pressure systems can create storms and the average temperature is 30C.
